Next time, don't be a lazy slug: treat ripped yarn properly to remove the kinks before re-knitting! It's not terrible, but you can see the difference between the new yarn and re-knitted yarn if you look closely (and if you can get past the moire patterning--for some reason it's really noticeable in this photo). Modeled pics and pattern coming soon--the former when she dries, the latter ASAP.
The Vespa Hat is a fun, quick project-- and fun to wear, with earflaps to keep your ears warm, a loose fit to prevent the dreaded "hat head," and an optional ponytail hole. Ear flaps and back of neck are worked flat; after front stitches are cast on, hat is worked in the round. See more patterns
