"Happy families are all alike;

every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way."--Leo Tolstoy, Anna Karenina.  If you had to guess, would you say this is a happy family, or an unhappy family?  And was this taken in the 60s, or the 70s?  And which one is me?  Anyway, I love this photo.  It's all good, but here are my highlights:  Bro's shirt!  Dad's specs!  Mom's ginormous bun (is there a rat in there?)!  It's my favorite one of my family, which I suppose, to answer the first question, I would have to call an unhappy one, since my parents divorced some years after this was taken (although we all get along, and my parents are both remarried to much more suitable partners, so perhaps we're happy after all).  To answer the second question, it was probably taken in 1971 or 1972, and to answer the last, that's me in the short pink frock.
